Nanay, we got you.

You are wonderfully made!

Lactation, Attachment, Training, Counseling, Help

LATCH, INC. is a non-profit organization of volunteer mothers dedicated to protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding.

Founded in 2006 and officially incorporated the following year in Quezon City, its members have consistently played a vital role in supporting mother-child dyads through peer counseling and providing anticipatory guidance in lactation education.

The LATCH Los Baños Chapter (LATCH LB), established in 2016, embodies the organization’s commitment to expanding its reach and deepening its impact. Our dedicated volunteers actively promote and implement evidence-based practices that support the health and well-being of mother-child dyads during the critical first 1,000 days—from a woman’s pregnancy through her child’s second birthday.

As of the end of 2024, we have 10 active members: six are engaged in on-site work in the province of Laguna, while four contribute remotely through online platforms.

Mission

To ensure every mother-child dyad receives timely, evidence-based breastfeeding support by empowering families and communities with expertise, practical tools, and compassionate care, affirming that breastfeeding is the biological norm essential for a strong start in the first 1,000 days.

Vision

We envision a society where every child is breastfed and every mother is confident, well-informed, and steadfastly supported throughout the first 1,000 days — celebrating that each mother-child dyad is wonderfully made.

We love what we do.

We love engaging with you.

We’re here to support you with helpful materials.

We celebrate every step forward.
